7 Steps to a Great Career!

A 7-session Webinar Series for Youth, ages 16 to 22.

"Did You Know?" (Youtube.com, 2014):

  • The U.S. Department of Labor estimates that today's students will have 10 to 14 jobs by age 38.

  • 50% of workers in the U.S. has been with their current employer for less than 5 years.

  • The Top 10 "In Demand" jobs in 2013 did not exist in 2004.

  • 3.5 zetabytes (3.5x1021) of unique new information wil be created worldwide this year which is more than the previous 5,000 years combined.

  • The amount of new technical information is doubling every 2 years so for students starting 4-year technical or college degrees, this means that 50% of what they learn in the first year of study wil be outdated by the 3rd year.

  • We are currently preparing students for jobs that don't yet exist using technologies that haven't been invented in order to solve problems we don't even know are problems yet.
